For a corner or an open-plan room, look at sectional sofas, including L-shaped and U-shaped sectionals. Modular sofas can be rearranged later, sleeper sofas double as a guest bed, and loveseats and small apartment sofas suit smaller rooms, and sofas with a chaise give you room to stretch out.
